Women Only Adventure Race QLD
The Women Only Adventure Race is far more than creating an unforgettable event experience shared among girlfriends; it’s about women making time for themselves, and putting first their health and fitness. The journey to the event is the most precious part for a lot of participants: regularly getting together as a team to train, learn new skills, and support one another to push their boundaries. Women Only Adventure Racing event strengthens bonds and relationships, bringing family, friends, and work colleagues together for a weekend of genuine fun. The Women Only Adventure Race is an event where teams of two women travel together in a team, they must navigate around a secret course by foot, mountain bike, and kayak. The stable sit-on double kayaks are provided for all teams and all levels of fitness and experience are welcome. Running/walking five kilometres. Cycling (mountain biking) 10 kilometres. Kayaking 2 kilometres. On race day, the participating teams will receive all maps and descriptions.

Apart from the intimate concert, you will be able to experience his shed of all kinds of memorabilia and quirky collectibles, his old cars and his ever-growing sculpture park. This is more than a concert. You will get to experience John’s favourite place, walk through the property and discover his creative pursuits. You’ll have time to explore his shed with all its memorabilia and quirky things he’s collected over decades. See his old cars and his growing ‘sculpture park’. Includes a welcome drink and an ongoing sausage sizzle. The event includes a complimentary ongoing sausage sizzle and one complimentary drink (bubbles, beer, soft drink or orange juice. YOU’RE WELCOME TO BRING YOUR OWN DRINKS AND NIBBLES AS THERE IS NO ALCOHOL FOR SALE ON SITE. You will also receive a take-home memento from the day. GATE OPENS: 12.30 PM CONCERT START TIME: 2 PM. THE EVENT CONCLUDES AT 5 PM. ADDRESS: Springbrook 4213 The exact location will be provided on your purchased tickets. PARKING IS AVAILABLE ON SITE for cars, and 4WD vehicles, but not for caravans. If you have mobility issues please let us know and we can organise to take you from the carpark area to the concert venue. otherwise, it’s approximately a 500m walk through the property with lots to see on the way. BUS TRANSPORT: We offer a return bus service from Mudgeeraba (about half an hour down the hill) from two different pickup points for an additional $25 per person. The trip takes approximately half an hour. This needs to be booked in advance as can book out. The pickup times and locations are: 11.45AM: Outside Liquorland Warehouse, Mudgeeraba, (next to Wallaby Hotel, but no parking here). CLICK for map reference. 11.50AM: Laver Family Park, corner of Gold Coast Rd and Hardys Rd, Mudgeeraba (plenty of parking here) CLICK for map reference. TOILETS: Toilets are on site including a disabled toilet. WHAT TO WEAR: The weather is unpredictable, so make sure you have warm clothes and please wear sensible footwear. It is a rural property and the ground can be uneven, so high-heeled shoes are inappropriate. ACCOMMODATION: There is limited accommodation at Springbrook and no camping or accommodation on the property.
