I’ve Noticed So Many Things, It’d Be Unfair To Keep Them To MyselfAward-winning Kiwi comedian, podcaster and improviser Guy Montgomery brings his new stand-up show ‘I’ve Noticed So Many Things, It’d Be Unfair To Keep Them To Myself’ to Australia in 2025. He’s well known to Australian audiences through TV shows like Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont-Spelling Bee, Have You Been Paying Attention and Thank God You’re Here. The national tour will include dates at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, the iconic Atheneum Theatre in Melbourne – where Montgomery will play his biggest Melbourne International Comedy Festival shows to date, the Perth Comedy Festival and the Sydney Comedy Festival, before shows in Brisbane, Newcastle, Wollongong, the Gold Coast and wrapping in Geelong. Montgomery said, “People often wonder what I get up to when I'm not relaying my observations about the world to them and I'm finally ready to talk. The truth is whenever I'm not relaying my observations, I am out in the community, harvesting a fresh crop of bespoke observations. That's what this show is about.” The shows follow Montgomery’s sold out 2024 tour ‘Over 50,000,000 Guy Fans Can’t Be Wrong’ that saw him perform in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. In addition this year, Montgomery’s growing popularity in Australia led to him hosting the Opening Night Comedy Allstars Supershow at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and saw his TV series Guy Montgomery’s Mont-Spelling Bee premiere on ABC TV. Scenic Rim Ultra
Runners have the option of 10km, 25 km, 42 km, 65 km or 105 km distances. Starting at The Lilybrook Recreation Area, runners will traverse the Dugandan Range and cross four mountains centred by spectacular Wyaralong Dam. The loop course finishes back at the winery, the perfect party precinct to celebrate tackling this gruelling and scenic course. The course runs across long ridgelines, single track, dirt road and dense forest much of which has never been explored by trail runners. Both distances have challenging mountain climbs which provide panoramic views of Mt Tamborine and Brisbane City.

Australian Eagles and Money For Nothin Dire Straits Experience - Burleigh Heads

Featuring the internationally celebrated Australian Eagles Show and the electrifying Money For Nothing: Dire Straits Experience, this event promises to be a musical extravaganza like no other. The Australian Eagles Show, renowned for their pitch-perfect renditions of Eagles classics, is fronted by the talented Michael Thompson and Shayne Browne. This five-piece band has wowed audiences across the globe with their meticulous recreation of the Eagles' timeless hits. From the melodic ‘Desperado’ to the high-octane ‘Life in the Fast Lane’ and the soulful ‘New Kid in Town’ every performance is a journey through the Eagles' storied catalog. The Gold Coast Titans are set to take on the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Cbus Super Stadium for Round 23 of the 2025 NRL Telstra Premiership. For the first time in seven years, the NRL has scheduled a Gold Coast home game in Indigenous Round, celebrating First Nations culture as part of the clash. Plus, the NRLW team will also be taking the field up against the Sydney Roosters. Expect this afternoon to be big!

Laboratory of Light
Laboratory of LightTHE PERFORMANCE Part theatre and part interactive research project, Laboratory of Light provides a theatrical lens through which teachers and students can engage with the Science syllabus. Welcome to the curious and wonder-filled world of Luminous, a backyard scientist who is fascinated by light. Where does light come from? How does it travel? What is it made of? Luminous spends all night conducting experiments in their garden shed - the Laboratory of Light, in the hope that one day this will lead to recognition and fame. Darkness is lonely and needs a friend but Luminous is afraid of the dark! One full moon, as an electromagnetic wave travels through the Milky Way, Luminous’ most ambitious invention traps the smallest unit of light, a photon! This unites an unlikely trio of friends, who embark on a night of discovery together and through live experiments and music, learn about the wonders of light along the way. THE EXPERIENCE The adventure begins with the arrival of education resources via Google Classroom, prior to attending the performance, and will spark students’ interest in the topic of light through creative in-class activities. On the day of the performance your class will spend time with Luminous in the Laboratory of Light.
