Choreographed and directed by Garry Stewart, the visually stunning production is a sensory journey through nature, creativity and resilience. At its heart is a commanding ‘Gaia’ figure – a matriarchal force who invokes the cycles of life and the creative spirit through movement, music and light. Presented as the first of three music-led world premieres exclusive to HOTA, Elastic Hearts marks the beginning of an exciting partnership between Experience Gold Coast and Queensland Ballet. The band has been furnishing audiences with quintessential soundtracks to Aussie summers for well over two decades now, and on ‘Summer Live ’25,’ fans will be treated to electrifying live versions of ‘Someday, Someday,’ ’20 Good Reasons,’ ‘Mousetrap Heart,’ ‘In The Summertime,’ ‘The Good Life,’ ‘Tommy and Krista’ and other Merc classics. Thirsty Merc formed in 2002, recorded their Debut album in 2003, sold over 250,000 albums (one double platinum, one platinum), received 5 ARIA nominations, garnered an APRA song of the year nomination, received extensive national airplay for multiple singles and videos and has toured constantly since the mid noughties. Sea World Foundation Ocean Clean Up Community Event
Sea World Foundation is calling on Gold Coast ocean lovers to help care for the beautiful ocean and wildlife that call it home. Volunteer to dive below the surface to remove rubbish from marine ecosystems or contribute to the cause by helping pick up litter along the shore. Killer Queen Experience and The David Bowie Experience - West Burleigh

COOLY GOES COUNTRY, Vixens of Fall Headline New Event at Coolangatta Hotel Country music is set to take centre stage at the iconic Coolangatta Hotel on Friday 14 November, with a spectacular new event headlined by none other than Vixens of Fall, Australia's powerhouse sister trio making waves in the country music scene. Bringing their signature blend of country-rock anthems and heartfelt harmonies, Vixens of Fall lead a dynamic lineup that promises to celebrate the heart and soul of modern country. Joining them on stage are rising star Piper Rodrigues, local favourites 78 Sound, and more acts to be announced in the coming weeks. In a special twist, the night will also feature a live performance by the winner of the Urban Stardust Band Competition, providing a unique platform for emerging talent to perform alongside some of Australia’s best. “This event is all about showcasing the energy, passion, and diversity of Australia’s country music scene, right here on the southern Gold Coast,” said event organizer Guy Palermo.
