Wild Earth Coastal High Trail Run
The Wild Earth Coastal High is an epic trail running event located in the iconic and spectacularly picturesque Gold Coast Hinterland. Running on trails contained within the pristine Lamington and Springbrook National Parks, the Coastal High two events; of 50km or 28km, that cover the best trails that South-East Queensland has to offer. The Wild Earth Coastal High sees runners traverse spectacular trails through sub-tropical rainforest, open forest, and along cliff tops within Lamington National Park, before descending down into the Numinbah Valley and then climbing up to finish adjacent to the magnificent Purlingbrook Falls in Springbrook National Park. The Wild Earth Coastal High trail run is special. Two World Heritage listed National Parks; trail running in a location that has to be enjoyed to be believed.

Queensland State Cup Touch Football Carnival
The Queensland State Cup is the premier affiliate touch football competition in Queensland. The event is held in November on the Gold Coast and provides the platform for senior touch football players to compete to the named the champion affiliate in their age division. The event is open to affiliate teams across Queensland and Australia and allows international teams to also attend and experience the Gold Coast.

The ASC’s is the pinnacle event for school basketball in Australia that sees Secondary Schools from around Australia travel and compete in a weeklong event. It’s an adrenaline-charged multi-stage race format designed around a series of uphills and exhilarating timed downhill sections. Cruise to the top of the hill, then bomb down as fast as you can. Rinse, repeat! The untimed climbs mean you get to ride at a leisurely pace, catching up with your mates, taking in the scenery and conserving your energy. The timed downhill sections are where the real action happens – time to put the hammer down and rocket that descent! Riders have a number of hours to complete the course. The course incorporates competitive downhill stages, each ranging in difficulty. Riders have their times recorded for each downhill stage, and the rider with the fastest consolidated time is declared the winner! Whether you’re an experienced mountain biker or just starting out, the Renegade Enduro Series is for you. They cater to experts and novices alike. This family-friendly event focus on fun, participation and an providing everyone with an exhilarating, first-rate and rewarding experience.

2025 Australian WPGA Championship
The 2025 Australian WPGA Championship will arrive at the renowned Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club on Queensland’s Gold Coast from March, 6-9 next year. As Australia’s premier stand-alone women’s golf event, the 2025 Australian WPGA Championship will kick off a three-week stretch of co-sanctioned events between the WPGA Tour of Australasia and the Ladies European Tour (LET). The Championship will see a star-studded field of Australian and International female players compete for the Karrie Webb Cup on Sanctuary Cove’s magnificent The Palms course. Not only will the tournament celebrate Australia’s rich legacy of outstanding female golfers but it will also showcase the next generation of talent. The tournament will also headline the new Gold Coast Festival of Golf, which will take place throughout the tournament week and feature an array of exciting events. Tickets for the 2025 Australian WPGA Championship are now available via Ticketek with tickets starting at just $15 for adults and $10 for concessions, while Kids 17 and under are free. Family tickets are also available from $30, while hospitality offerings at the Champions Lounge are also now available.

Taking place across 8 x state Qualifying Rounds, only 42 clubs will come together at the Grand Final to battle it out to become the best boardrider club in Australia.

Ride the course as part of a team or race solo, two-person team, mixed team, it’s up to you – and depends on how crazy you are! This year, they're also introducing a family team option at all events – because of families that MTB together, stay together! Please note: the race starts at 8 am with a seven-kilometre loop around Kooralbyn Valley. This is a mountain biking event.

Gold Coast Schools Comp | Nerang QLD
Get ready for an epic day of mountain biking with the Rocky Trail Academy comp at Nerang MTB Park! Hosted by Rocky Trail Entertainment, this event is designed for high school-age riders to challenge themselves across three epic timed stages on some of the best trails in the region. Whether they’re looking to challenge themselves or just have fun with friends, the Rocky Trail Academy event is all about fostering growth and camaraderie. The event format includes three stages, designed to test a variety of skills, including endurance, speed, and technical ability. Everyone gets five possible runs on each track, with the fastest time per stage counting toward your final result. With no set track order and untimed liaisons, you can enjoy the beautiful outdoors at your own pace. Riders will also earn points for their school, with bonus points awarded for top finishers on each track. Race categories are based on school year groups - students race against their peers and experience the thrill of friendly competition. Each track is designed to be rideable by anyone from beginners to experienced, ensuring there’s something for every skill level. The experienced team will be there to ensure everything runs smoothly, from registration to course marshalling and first aid services!
