Wild Earth Coastal High Trail Run
The Wild Earth Coastal High is an epic trail running event located in the iconic and spectacularly picturesque Gold Coast Hinterland. Running on trails contained within the pristine Lamington and Springbrook National Parks, the Coastal High two events; of 50km or 28km, that cover the best trails that South-East Queensland has to offer. The Wild Earth Coastal High sees runners traverse spectacular trails through sub-tropical rainforest, open forest, and along cliff tops within Lamington National Park, before descending down into the Numinbah Valley and then climbing up to finish adjacent to the magnificent Purlingbrook Falls in Springbrook National Park. The Wild Earth Coastal High trail run is special. Two World Heritage listed National Parks; trail running in a location that has to be enjoyed to be believed.

2024 Australian Volleyball Schools Cup
The Australian Volleyball Schools Cup (AVSC) is the largest school-based sporting event in the Southern Hemisphere, attracting teams from across Australia, plus international teams. The event is owned and organised by Volleyball Australia. This event has seen tremendous growth since its inception and in 2019 saw 414 teams from 124 schools from across Australia and New Zealand. This unique event has delivered almost all of the national players (beach and indoor) for the last 3 decades and will continue to see the next generation of national, international and potentially Olympic athletes. The AVSC is the marquee junior participation event in the national events portfolio, bringing together hundreds of secondary school teams annually in December, enjoying an introduction to volleyball, camaraderie and enthusiastic competition amongst the nation’s school community.

The sun will rise over The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Carnival on Tuesday, 7 January when The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Barrier Draw takes centre stage on the Surfers Paradise foreshore from 6am. At approximately 8am, all eyes will turn towards the ocean for the spectacle of several thoroughbreds with champion jockeys on board gallop down the pristine sands of Queensland’s most iconic beach, Surfers Paradise. The connections of every runner in 2025 AUD2 million The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic field will arrive in style before randomly choosing the barrier from which their horse will start on Raceday, Saturday, January 11. The barrier draw for the AUD2 million Gold Coast Magic Millions Guineas will be drawn shortly afterwards at approximately 8.30am.

Burleigh Swim Run Australia Day Challenge (Ozday Public holiday 2025)
The Kollosche + Your Wealth Corp Burleigh Swim Run Australia Day Challenge on Monday 27 January 2025 (Australia Day Public Holiday) is a fun community fitness event in and along Burleigh beach with the event based around fitness, families and fun. The event is held in front of the Burleigh Lifeguard Headquarters that is open to everybody from kids aged 5yrs to adults 60yrs+. The event consists of three events - the Challenge, the Taste Tester & the Young Guns - with all events involving an ocean swim (a wade for the young guns) and beach running, with distances that can be achieved by all ages and abilities. All events are individual based except for "The Challenge" which also offers a teams option as well. Distances/Events The Challenge (solo or team): 400m swim + 4K beach run The Taste Tester: 200m swim + 2K beach run The Young Guns Challenge (5 to 12 years old): 400m wade + 400m beach run

Hyundai Australian Boardriders Battle - Grand Final
Welcome to the 12th edition of the Hyundai Australian Boardriders Battle! Australia's biggest grassroots boardriders event which involves over 80 Australian Boardrider Clubs qualifying across the nation to attend the grand final. Taking place across 8 x state Qualifying Rounds, only 42 clubs will come together at the Grand Final to battle it out to become the best boardrider club in Australia.
