Beach 5s evolution supporting the off-season of Rugby Union & Rugby League - kick-started Gold Coast on Kirra Beach 2018. They are now in theirr seventh year and rebranded as "Beach 5s Australian Championships 2026 - Beach 5s presents a spectacular, fast-paced and exciting game based on modified rules of Rugby Union and Rugby League - no scrums / no lineouts.
