Harrisville Sunday Farm Day

Sunday Farm Days are a great opportunity to escape the city for a genuine farm experience. These events occur on the last Sunday of every month in Harrisville, a small suburb in the beautiful Scenic Rim - and less than an hour from Brisbane! Sunday Farm Days give kids the chance to have some fun with the animals on a working farm. There is an animal nursery full of baby lambs and goats to feed and play with - and everyone's favourite alpaca George! They also have plenty of piglets to say hello to. There is a designated chick & duckling holding area and some silkie chickens who love a cuddle! Then there is face painting and pony rides for some extra fun! In case you get hungry, coffee and a sausage sizzle is available, and an ice cream van - perfect for the warm weather. All regular poultry and produce is available as well. With plenty of beautiful green space to enjoy, gather your friends and family, bring your picnic blankets and enjoy a beautiful morning out in the picturesque Scenic Rim!

A great stand-alone run or ideal prep for Coastal High; just 4 weeks later. The Border Bolt showcases the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland, yet starts and finishes by our world-famous beaches!

Cauldron Distillery Gin Blending Class
Get your creative juices flowing during an informative and interactive Gin Blending Class at Tamborine Mountain’s very own Cauldron Distillery. Do you enjoy creating recipes in the kitchen? How good is your palate at detecting flavours? During this one hour experience, you will learn everything there is to know about gin and then you are set free to create your own gin masterpiece to take home. Set in their world-class distillery and guided by their distilling team, you will select from a multitude of individually distilled botanicals and skilfully blend them together to create a balanced gin that suits your palate and taste. How does a gin with orange, sage, and anise sound to you? Maybe you prefer rose petals, strawberry, and cocoa nibs? Perhaps your preference is lemon myrtle, macadamia nuts and honey? The choice will be yours because your gin blend can be as unique as you are! Gold Coast Eisteddfod has sections in all genres of Music, Dance & Drama including Dance Solos, Young People with Disability, Strings, Wind & Brass, String Orchestras, Small Ensembles, Dance Groups, Choral, Bands, Stage Bands, School Dance Groups, Piano, Vocal & Speech & Drama. Held from July to September each year at various venues across the Gold Coast.
