Sea World Foundation Ocean Clean Up Community Event
Sea World Foundation is calling on Gold Coast ocean lovers to help care for the beautiful ocean and wildlife that call it home. Volunteer to dive below the surface to remove rubbish from marine ecosystems or contribute to the cause by helping pick up litter along the shore. Then celebrate with a free barbecue, live music, eco-activities and prizes at this family-friendly fun day out! Register today and make a difference! This project has received funding support from the Queensland Government's Community Sustainability Action grant program.

Enjoy two festive evenings of Christmas markets, movies and fireworks by the beach in Surfers Paradise. From 4pm discover the Surfers Paradise Christmas Twilight Markets brimming with handmade gifts, festive eats and local treasures. Bring your picnic blanket, settle on the sand and enjoy a free cinematic experience under the stars from 7pm.Friday 12 December – The Santa Clause Saturday 13 December – ELFEach night there'll be sparkling fireworks at 8:30pm, the perfect festive finale! Hosted by the Gold Coast's very own Nicka35, the evening will be filled with festive fun and live music from local favourites Chloe Styler, Birren and the Paper Daisies, plus Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary's Blinky Bill Christmas show. This free, family-friendly event is the perfect way to celebrate the festive season. Bring your picnic blanket, friends and family, and settle in for an evening filled with your favourite Christmas carols, a delicious variety of food trucks, and a special visit from the big man in red. Salsa in the Park is an event open to everyone and it is free. It is held at The Porch in Broadwater Parklands, Southport. DJs will play a variety of latin music to keep everyone dancing.
