SEQ Trail Running Series: Round 3 – Numinbah Valley

This event provides runners with the opportunity to explore one of South East Queensland's most scenic regions while enjoying the challenge and adventure of off-road running.Choose your challenge:Short Course: 8.8 kilometres Long Course: 13.4 kilometresThe courses showcase the unique terrain of the Numinbah Valley, featuring a mix of flowing trails, varied surfaces and challenging sections through the beautiful natural environment of the Gold Coast Hinterland.The SEQ Trail Running Series is known for its welcoming and supportive community atmosphere. 3Ptag Queensland Junior All Nations
3Ptag isn't just a tournament; it's a celebration of athleticism, culture, sportsmanship and the unbrindled spirit of competition. 3Ptag is a non-contact modified Rugby League game. The theme for the tournament is All Nations. The All Nations theme was selected as sport has the power to bring individuals and communities together. It can also help to overcome differences and encourage dialogue. All Nations provides the opportunity to celebrate cultural diversity and further enhance the positivity that is generated from living within a multicultural society. The competition runs from U/12 - U/18 across both boys and girls competitions, with over 25 countries represented across 250 teams who will compete across the event.

Australia's Kindest Person
Australia's Kindest Person is a national movement and live awards event that celebrates everyday Australians whose acts of kindness are changing lives. Built on the belief that kindness is powerful, contagious, and often overlooked, the campaign invites people across the country to nominate individuals making a genuine difference in their communities.The campaign culminates in a live gala awards dinner held at Dreamworld on November 13 (World Kindness Day), bringing together finalists, partners, media, and community leaders for an inspiring evening of storytelling and recognition. The event celebrates the impact of kindness at a national level, with finalists honoured on stage and one individual named Australia's Kindest Person.Each nomination uncovers real, human stories that are captured and shared to inspire others, creating a ripple effect of kindness nationwide.The winner receives a AUD50,000 prize, split between themselves and a charity of their choice, ensuring the impact extends beyond recognition into real, tangible change.More than a moment, the event is designed to shift culture, restoring faith in the kindness of humanity by spotlighting the good that exists in everyday life and giving it the attention it deserves.

Bangarra Dance Theatre - HorizonThere is a place between sea and sky—a sacred realm, where the sun rises and falls and the light is new.From two of the world’s great First Nations comes a new work: Horizon. Some call it a feeling, some call it the mother spirit. It’s the place where sea meets sky, the horizon we all look to, the compass that guides us home.In Bangarra's first mainstage cross-cultural collaboration, leading Māori choreographer and Arts Laureate Moss Te Ururangi Patterson joins beloved Bangarra alumna Deborah Brown. Together they guide their award-winning ensemble in stories that honour their mother countries and the spirit that calls them home.Brown is a proud descendent of the Wakaid Clan and Meriam people in the Torres Strait, and has heritage from far across the seas in Scotland. She carries strength and resilience from her ancestors. Patterson, born near Lake Taupō, is a proud mokopuna (grandson) of the Ngāti Tūwharetoa tribe, and describes his sense of home as something alive, a fire inside, that he carries like a beating heart.To open the work, Saibailayg (Saibai Islander) Sani Townson expands his acclaimed work Kulka, which debuted in Dance Clan in 2023, to make a thrilling opening piece, paying homage to Sani’s grandfather and his Torres Strait heritage.Come explore the cultural forces that bind us together, across oceans and eons. NRMA Insurance Australian Boardriders Battle - Grand Final 2027
Welcome to the 14th edition of the Australian Boardriders Battle!Australia's biggest grassroots boardriders event which involves over 80 Australian Boardrider Clubs qualifying across the nation to attend the grand final. Taking place across 8 x state Qualifying Rounds, only 42 clubs will come together at the Grand Final to battle it out to become the best boardrider club in Australia.
