PNAU - Australia 2024 - Gold Coast
Off the back of their recently released sixth studio album Hyperbolic, Aussie festival favourites PNAU will be returning to Australia this summer! Kicking off in Perth on November 22nd, PNAU will then take their exhilarating live show along the east coast of Australia landing at Miami Marketta for a Gold Coast show on Saturday 7th December. Expect to hear some of their latest tracks lifted from Hyperbolic, plus hits like ‘Go Bang’, ‘Chameleon’ and of course their multi-billion streaming hit ‘Cold Heart’. 2024 also marks the 25th anniversary of PNAU’s debut album Sambanova, with the ARIA Awardwinning LP achieving mythical status by its rarity and leaving fans begging for a re-release. Released earlier this year, Hyperbolic is PNAU’s first LP since 2017’s mind-altering Changa. The album is packed with A-List collaborators including Khalid, Troye Sivan, Bebe Rexha, Empire of the Sun and more, and features four brand new tracks including ‘Nostalgia’. In the time since their last album release, PNAU exploded onto the global stage with their Elton John & Dua Lipa recording ‘Cold Heart’ garnering billions of streams, picking up multiple award wins and nominations, and taking PNAU’s music to stratospheric heights. Now Hyperbolic shows the world the breadth of PNAU’s songwriting and production prowess, taking us from their origins in underground raves and clubs, all the way through to disco and pop-tinged anthems, but always with PNAU’s unmistakable dance floor sound at the core Nick Littlemore and Peter Mayes have been raving together since meeting at high school in Sydney and starting PNAU not long after. PNAU released their ARIA Award-winning debut album Sambanova in 1999, followed by Again in 2003, their self-titled album Pnau in 2007, and Soft Universe in 2011. It was in 2012 that PNAU collaborated with Elton John for the first time, delivering Elton a UK #1 album with Good Morning To The Night. In 2016, multiplatinum hits ‘Go Bang’ and ‘Chameleon’ featuring Kira Divine became inescapable on the airwaves, winning multiple ARIA Awards and climbing the Billboard Dance charts. Their fifth studio album Changa followed in 2017 with Kira bringing a new dimension to PNAU’s live shows and recordings. With the phenomenal success of ‘Cold Heart’ making them one of Australia’s highest streaming musical exports and most successful dance acts globally, PNAU continue to collaborate with some of the biggest artists around the world, being sought out for their unique artistry and production skills. In recent years, PNAU contributed to the ELVIS soundtrack with ‘Don’t Fly Away’, remixed Diana Ross and Tame Impala’s track ‘Turn Up The Sunshine’ and also remixed Lizzo’s track ‘2 Be Loved’

HOODOO GURUS - Back To The Stone-Age
Hoodoo Gurus Announce Back to the Stoneage 2024 National Tour! Performing Stoneage Romeos in its entirety plus all their hits! #HoodooGurus Hot off the announcement of their extremely limited, vinyl collector’s set, Hoodoo Gurus have announced a national tour celebrating 40 years since they released Stoneage Romeos. Originally released in March 1984 (!), Stoneage Romeos, was the Gurus’ debut album and featured the hits Leilani, Tojo, My Girl and I Want You Back. It reached #29 on the Australian Album Chart and the album went on to win Best Debut Album at the 1984 Countdown Awards. Stoneage Romeos has consistently appeared in the Top 10 on almost every Top 50 and Top 100 Australian album lists. The Back to the Stoneage 2024 national tour will see the band play the Stoneage Romeos album in full followed by a selection of hit songs and album tracks. The tour will land on the Gold Coast at Miami Marketta on Sunday 8th December. Dave Faulkner said, “‘Stoneage Romeos’ was a pivotal album for us and many of its songs have remained live favourites ever since. It’ll be great to play some of those “less-travelled” songs from it on this tour - even though that means we’ll be playing longer sets to fit everything else in as well. Hah! To my mind that’s a win-win situation.” Since forming in 1981, Hoodoo Gurus boast 10 x ARIA Top 20 albums, 9 x ARIA Top 40 singles and a host of multi-platinum albums – they’re mainstays on the live scene, and influential to a new generation of artists that have arrived after them. Few other artists have toured as comprehensively, achieved such an enduring reputation over successive generations, enjoyed such loyalty from fans and maintained such high currency for their work – both within Australia and abroad. Hoodoo Gurus last toured Australia in September 2022 to rave reviews: “ … the Hoodoos prove there’s a good reason why they can sell out such a sizeable venue four decades into their career, the tight four-piece playing with an explosive energy that puts bands half their age to shame” – Sydney Morning Herald “The Hoodoo Gurus showed they have one of the most impressive back catalogs of any Australian guitar-rock band – filling a 25 song set tonight, with easily another dozen brilliant songs that could have been featured” – TheMusic.com.au Through to their chart-topping successes throughout the '80s and '90s, their international triumphs and countless sold-out local tours, from their 1998-2003 break-up through to their latest album, Chariot of the Gods, Hoodoo Gurus have been and remain one of the most popular and successful musical acts Australia has ever produced. ”
