Life Support
‘Life Support’ is a full-length documentary that captures the unique eye-witness testimonies of international doctors who have been to Gaza over the last two years. Given the ban on international media, the doctors become the eyes and ears of the world. Led by Dr Nick Maynard, Dr Victoria Rose and Dr Tanya Haj Hassan, the film is structured around their visceral, first-hand footage from inside hospitals. As the doctors' videos chronicle their experience working in extreme conditions, footage shot for our film by local cameramen gives us access to everyday life in Gaza beyond the headlines. Content Warning: contains graphic and distressing scenes including images of severely injured children and starvation.

Songs of Myth and Moonlight: A Concert
Songs of Myth & Moonlight is an enchanting afternoon of cinematic, classical and contemporary music on the Gold Coast, presented in support of the Butterfly Foundation.Featuring Gold Coast soprano Joanna Knowles, and special guests Vocal Waves Choir and local singer-songwriter Arianna, the concert will bring together powerful solo performances, soaring choral arrangements and beloved music from stage, screen and contemporary repertoire.Audiences will be taken on an emotional musical journey exploring themes of love, longing, resilience, identity and hope. The program combines familiar favourites with evocative contemporary pieces, creating an afternoon of beautiful voices, storytelling and musical magic.The concert has been created to bring the community together through the transformative power of music while raising funds and awareness in support of the Butterfly Foundation and its work with people affected by eating disorders and body image concerns. With an ethereal, ocean-inspired atmosphere, Songs of Myth & Moonlight promises an afternoon of music, connection and hope.Net proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Butterfly Foundation.

Improv Comedy FriYAY by Blah Blah Blah Improv
Two comedy shows, one ticket, huge laughs, and lots of spookiness.The first half is packed with the fast-paced comedy theatre games Gold Coast audiences have come to know and love. Fans of Whose Line Is It Anyway? will feel right at home.Then, in the second half, Blah Blah Blah Improv's signature long-form show, Small Town Council, takes the stage, where local Facebook community group posts provide the inspiration. Joining the cast are two special professional improvisers from Brisbane, Glenn Seaby and Liz Talbot.Audience members can scroll through their neighbourhood Facebook group and find a post that's mundane, funny, bizarre, or very idiosyncratic to the local area. Posts can be submitted on the night and could become part of the agenda at the completely improvised town council meeting.The improvisers take the posts and bring the people, relationships, and ridiculous small-town shenanigans to life, while the audience, as the townspeople, might even be called upon to help council find a solution.Family-friendly. The only comedy night on the Gold Coast where kids and a drink can both be part of the night.Critics have praised the show as an impressive bit of family-friendly comedy with big laughs, noting it had audiences roaring with laughter and delivering fast-paced antics from start to finish.
