Bloom Sings Eva Cassidy (PM Concert)
Bloom Sings Eva Cassidy is an intimate and acoustic tribute that brings to life the timeless music of one of the most soul-stirring voices of our time. Audiences will be mesmerised as Bloom delivers heartfelt renditions of Eva’s most beloved songs, including “Songbird,” “Time After Time,” “Fields of Gold,” “Over the Rainbow,” and many more. With sold-out tours across Australia and New Zealand, Bloom has earned acclaim as “one of Australia’s finest vocalists,” captivating audiences with her rich, soulful voice and heartfelt performances. Two years after her death, her breathtaking covers of “Fields of Gold” and “Over the Rainbow” gained worldwide attention. Through this beautiful tribute, Bloom honours Eva Cassidy’s quiet brilliance and enduring legacy, sharing the heartfelt music of an artist who left us too soon but left behind a body of work that continues to inspire the world today. Brought to you by AAA Entertainment. This event is part of the Scenic Rim Cultural Programming. The Stretch character adds another layer of brilliance to the show while celebrating his musical prowess. It's a complete saga! Barry Morgan’s Travelling Organ Tour — a show not to be missed! ABOUT STRETCH (Barry Morgan’s Legendary Bushman Roadie) Meet Stretch — Barry Morgan’s right-hand man, part-time roadie, and full-time legend of the open road. With a heart as big as the outback and a toolbox full of duct tape and wisdom, Stretch has seen it all — from flat tyres to full houses. He’s the bloke who keeps the wheels turning and the organ humming, sharing stories of life on tour with a megastar, and the occasional bush philosophy about love, loyalty, and the price of petrol. When Stretch picks up a guitar or tambourine, things get real — his musical interludes and honest yarns bring a whole new rhythm to Barry’s show. Together, they’re the ultimate odd couple of Australian entertainment — one dazzling in sequins, the other dusted in red dirt. “Barry might be the star,” Stretch says, “but I’m the one who makes sure his organ doesn’t roll down a hill.” Can't make the event?
