Journey back to the Summer of Love and be transported to a time when the music was funky, the art was kaleidoscopic and psychedelia was in full swing. Enjoy this trip presents a nostalgic exploration of the times through art, graphic design, music, colour and typography. This is a National Gallery Touring Exhibition supported by the Australian Government through the National Collecting Institutions Touring and Outreach Program. An exciting yet hilly 15km and 25km trail running event held in the beautiful Numinbah Valley on Queensland’s Gold Coast. The race also doubles as Round 1 of the Triple Crown Trail Series! 2024 again sees the final round f Flirt with Dirt held in conjunction with In the Raw; introducing rising stars and newbies to a true trail experience. A perfect end to the short-course season or a dream start for the longer stuff coming up in the year; In the Raw has a fun course, at a great venue, with terrific on course camaraderie to boot. Ronald McDonald House Charities 2025 Race Day
Giddy up and get ready to make a difference this One Sunny Race Day. Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland are once again hosting a charity race day to raise much-needed funds for sick or injured kids and their families. Join them at the Gold Coast Turf Club events centre for a day of sensational sips, mouth-watering morsels, and of course, premium trackside views of the races. But that’s not all - you’ll be helping a fantastic cause too! All the proceeds from the event will go directly to support the families of sick and injured kids, providing them with essential resources and accommodation to be close to their loved ones when they need it most. Gold Coast Marathon presented by ASICS
Celebrate the 45th edition of the Gold Coast Marathon presented by ASICS and run for the good times on the beautiful Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. The world class international marathon will attract participants of all ages and abilities from around the world across nine races including the ASICS Gold Coast Marathon, CPL Wheelchair Marathon, Half Marathon, Southern Cross University 10km Run, CPL Wheelchair 10km, Gold Coast Airport 5km, Wheelchair 4km, 4km Junior Dash, 4km Wheelchair and 2km Junior Dash. The ASICS Gold Coast Marathon, a World Athletics Label Road Race, is the pinnacle of road running events in Australia and during its history has distinguished itself as one of the most prestigious marathons in the world. Its famous flat, fast and scenic course located alongside the city’s renowned surf beaches and stunning Broadwater plus ideal winter running conditions featuring low humidity, little wind and mild temperatures result in over 60 per cent of participants achieving personal best times each year.

2025 Gold Coast Kokoda Challenge
Tackle the Kokoda Challenge on Saturday July 19, and test your physical and mental resilience by walking through the Gold Coast Hinterland over a distance of 30km, 48km, or 96km. The Kokoda Challenge is Australia’s toughest team endurance event and is not for the faint-hearted. With over 4,000 meters of elevation and 39 hours of trekking through the day and night, regardless of weather conditions, you will experience a test of strength and determination. The course includes sharp inclines, gruelling descents, mud, and creeks, and pays tribute to the sacrifices of the Diggers who fought in the 1942 Kokoda Campaign. This is more than a personal challenge – it’s an opportunity to give back to your community. The funds raised support Kokoda Youth Foundation programs to help kids in the local community. The Kokoda Youth Programs are empowering local kids facing disadvantages and disengagement to realise their full potential by instilling the values of the Kokoda Spirit; Courage, Endurance, Mateship, Sacrifice. Past participants have called this event “physically and emotionally exhausting, and yet the most extraordinary and rewarding thing we’ve completed.” Every step is a testament to your inner strength, prove to yourself what you’re truly made of and join in on this epic adventure!

Gold Coast Eisteddfod
South East Queensland is home of the Gold Coast Eisteddfod which is the largest youth competition of performing arts in Australia. It is not only a platform for launching the careers of international performers, but also a place where enduring memories are created, future careers are fostered and the stars of tomorrow are developed. Gold Coast Eisteddfod has sections in all genres of Music, Dance & Drama including Dance Solos, Young People with Disability, Strings, Wind & Brass, String Orchestras, Small Ensembles, Dance Groups, Choral, Bands, Stage Bands, School Dance Groups, Piano, Vocal & Speech & Drama. Held from July to September each year at various venues across the Gold Coast.

Botanical Bazaar 2025
The Botanical Bazaar is the Gold Coast's premier Gardening and Sustainability Festival. It is an interactive Gardening and Sustainable living event aimed to educate and inspire all nature enthusiasts. The event is a perfect blend of learning, shopping, and entertainment, all focused around gardening and sustainable living. Educating and inspiring nature enthusiasts of all ages. See around 90 green exhibitors and local artisans plus celebrity gardener’s talks, demonstrations, botanical art, community groups and kids nature activities. The atmosphere was alive with local, live music under The Musical Tree and The Patch, creating a magical backdrop to the festivities. The annual SWELL Sculpture Festival is celebrating its 22nd year as a free and all-inclusive 10-day outdoor sculpture exhibition by the people for the people. A celebration of narratives and stories spoken through the artworks produced by local, national and international artists. You are invited to immerse at your own level and pace with the sculptures set amongst the natural landscape. Delve deeper into the unique artistic elements programmed each year by attending artist talks, twilight walks, sculptural workshops and masterclasses.
