In May each year, the Gold Coast transforms into a vibrant hub of rhythm and blues as Blues on Broadbeach rolls into town.
The beloved festival celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2026, and it’s going to be an event to remember. With an epic lineup of 60+ musical acts from around the world, surrounded by restaurants, lively bars, coastal parklands and endless accommodation options, this is a festival experience like no other.
The Experience
Four jam-packed days of festival vibes anda smorgasbord of amazing live music, from intimate acoustic performances to the full main stage energy at Kurrawa Park, with electrifying headline acts and thousands of blues fans feeling the love.
The Location
There aren't many other places in the world where you'll find a blues festival by the beach. With outdoor stages in shady parks and on the streets, you can enjoy the blissful experience of live music in the sunshine and under the stars.
The festival precinct spans four blocks of Broadbeach including Surf Parade, Oasis Mall and Kurrawa Park. Enjoy fine dining with a live soundtrack of blues music on The Oracle Boulevard and performances in numerous local bars and restaurants. The Accommodation
One thing that sets this festival apart is the huge array of accommodation options within the festival precinct. Book a self-contained holiday apartment where you can hear the tunes from your balcony and the main stage is steps from your door.

The Lineup
The program features internationally renowned artists you know and love, as well as plenty of must-see newbies and local legends. In 2026 some of the headlining artists set to grace the stage include Charlie Musselwhite, Ruthie Foster, Robert Finley, The Lachy Doley Trio, Kevin Borich Express and more! You’ll be inundated with tunes the entire time and it's highly likely you’ll discover a new favourite band. The first announcement has dropped so stay tuned for more exciting acts to be added. The Price
The vast majority of Blues on Broadbeach is free. You can experience world-class music acts live and loud for no cost whatsoever. The exception is the festival's Sunday Ticket - a ticketed event showcasing some of the biggest names on the bill. In 2026, it's none other than Aussie Blues heavyweights The Teskey Brothers taking the stage, alongside special guests Judith Hill and Ash Grunwald. The Teskey Brothers are known for their warm, vintage sound and raw, soulful live performances overflowing with energy. The Food
Broadbeach is one of Gold Coast’s favourite dining destinations with dozens of restaurants to choose from.
