Melbourne Ska Orchestra – The Ballad of Monte Loco Tour
From the badlands of brass and the frontiers of funk,Melbourne Ska Orchestra rides again with a soundtrack for the wild-hearted! Armed with a new record, The Ballad of Monte Loco, the 20-piece posse is firing off a genre-busting fusion of Spaghetti Western swagger, deep reggae grooves, and horn-powered mayhem. It’s the next chapter in MSO’s wild musical saga—and it’s coming in hot. Fresh off the dusty trails of Mexico and the maple-syruped dancehalls of Canada, MSO returns home for the Australian leg of their 2025 World Tour. Expect cinematic showdowns, sweat-soaked dance floors, and enough energy to raise the roof on every saloon from Sydney to Fremantle. This ain’t no gig—it’s a dub-drenched reckoning in the badlands of Monte Loco, where the riddim rolls like thunder, the horns cry like desert prophets, and this band of sonic outlaws rides with purpose and fire.

Comedy Underground | Neel Kolhatkar
Black Belt ComedyNeel Kolhatkar loves two things — comedy and martial arts. What he admires most about martial arts is the belt system: a clear marker of skill earned through skill and experience. Neel believes comedy should be no different. With social media flooded by stand-ups of every stripe, there’s no way to gauge a comedian’s experience and skill level — so why not introduce comedy belts? From ‘white belts’ telling dad jokes to ‘black belts’ tackling dark, taboo topics with nuance and precision. Black Belt Comedy is Neel’s personal challenge — to earn the right to say the hardest things in the funniest way. Neel Kolhatkar is known for his sharp observational, cultural, and political comedy — always walking the fine line between edgy and highbrow. He describes his style much like himself: “dark and intelligent.” This year’s show dives into cultural quirks, relationships and modern social dynamics, all delivered with Neel’s signature impressions and accents. He’s also branching into fresh ground, with exciting new material and top-tier support acts rounding out the night. Don’t miss Neel Kolhatkar’s brand new show – Black Belt Comedy. Book now!

Trent Dalton’s Love Stories
Trent Dalton’s Love StoriesGet ready to fall in love all over again. This restless city has a story to tell. “I believe in touch. I believe in song. I believe she remembers him. I believe the perfect girl can always meet the perfect boy. I believe we are not alone in the universe” A father prepares himself for the day he lets go of his daughter’s hand. A young man breaks up with his girlfriend so they can both follow their dreams. A couple play nice in public to hide the fractures at home. A woman rebuilds herself along with a flood-devastated city. A working mum contemplates taking the photographs of her late husband down from the fridge. A grandmother dreams of seeing her grandson’s face. A renowned 100-year-old scientist ponders the one great earthly puzzle he was never able to solve: 'What is love?' Inspired by a personal moment of profound love and generosity, bestselling author – and one of Australia's finest journalists – Trent Dalton spent two months in 2021 gathering stories on his sky-blue 1960s Olivetti typewriter, on a prominent street corner in Brisbane’s CBD. Speaking to Australians from all walks of life, he asked them one simple thing: 'Can you please tell me a love story?' What followed was Dalton’s unashamedly joyous collection of Love Stories, and the creative team behind the smash-hit page-to-stage adaptation of Boy Swallows Universe (director Sam Strong and writer Tim McGarry) reuniting to bring to life Dalton’s latest warm, wise, poignant, funny and moving story about love, in all its guises. “It dives into the chaos of love – the joy, the pain, the laughter. The heartbreak...sending you back to the streets feeling just a little more alive” - The Guardian
