Newly opened in 2025, Sol Elements sets the gold standard for a sublime Gold Coast bathhouse experience. Located on a lake in the subtropical forest of Mount Tambourine, the natural setting enhances the sense of serenity you’ll discover here.

The beautiful building has been designed to merge organically with the surroundings, centred around a circular Zen Garden with treatment rooms radiating out from the centre. Inside, you’ll find every exquisite detail has been carefully considered to align with the raw, earthy aesthetic. The four elements - earth, air, fire and water - are all represented through the bathhouse experience, the design and signature treatments.

Begin with a session in the Earth Lab, where you can create your own organic body scrub from a selection of natural ingredients including sea salt, raw sugar, ground coffee, calendula and rose petals.Move between mineral rich thermal pools, cedar stone sauna, steam room, invigorating cold plunges and alfresco lakeside firepit. You can also spend time cocooned in the rosy glow of the Himalayan salt sanctuary and gaze out across the tranquil waters of the lake as you soak in mineral pools.

As well as the communal bathhouse facilities, there are two secluded private suites where you have your own space to sauna, soak and plunge, two floatation caves and treatment rooms where you can indulge in one of the six Alchemy Spa Rituals offer. Lasting from 30 minutes to 2 hours each treatment blends alternative and traditional healing techniques for a truly blissful wellness experience.

Soak Bathhouse Mermaid Beach

Soak Bathhouse is located in the seaside hub of Mermaid Beach and a popular destination for those wanting to indulge in some soothing self-care. Start with a simple soak session in the communal mineral baths. Dip in and out of the hot spas and cold plunge pools, sweat it out in the sauna and steam room, or limber up with a yoga class in the custom-built Flowhouse studio. The centuries old ritual of heating and cooling the body via hydrotherapy delivers numerous health benefits to enhance energy and mood, improve skin health and sleep and reduce tension.

Vikasati Southport

If your body is aching and your mind is busy, then take some time out for your wellbeing at Vikasati Southport. This stylish, modern open air bathhouse brings you back to yourself with the relaxing ritual of self-care. Spacious, circular magnesium pools (hot and cold) are ideal for a social soak in the sunshine and the traditional Finnish sauna is one of the biggest in Australia.

Greenhouse Bathhouse

You’ll walk into Greenhouse Bathhouse, but you’ll float out. In the tranquil surrounds of Tallebudgera Valley, this chic hacienda-style bathhouse offers a blissful bathing and wellness experience in an alfresco setting. A bubbling hot magnesium hydrotherapy pool and accompanying cold plunge sit under a gabled patio in a beautifully landscaped garden, where you can lounge in the sun between dips.

The serene soaking spot also offers a custom built wet steam room and red cedar sauna and outdoor showers in pretty pebbled Med-style surrounds, or you can raise the relaxation stakes and add in an intuitive massage in the luxurious treatment rooms. Post soak, enjoy delicious vegan offerings from the adjoining restaurant and botanical bar, Greenhouse Canteen.

The Bathhouse at Ground Currumbin is an oasis of serenity, with hot tubs, hydro spas, magnesium plunge pool and an authentic wood fired, hot stone sauna set in tropical gardens beneath the sprawling branches of a huge old fig tree.
