Gold Coast Art & Craft Markets

With more than 150 stalls filled with fashion, food, plants, flowers, homewares, beauty products and craft, the Sunday beachside Art & Craft Markets are a Gold Coast institution appearing for over 20 years in some of the Coast’s most popular beachside spots. Combine your morning wandering the markets with a swim between the flags or a surf at the beach afterwards for a perfect fix of ‘easy like a Sunday morning’, Gold Coast style.
Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets
Where: Surfers Paradise Esplanade, Surfers Paradise

An iconic Gold Coast experience, Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets has been serving up twilight vibes by the sea for over a quarter of a decade. More than a hundred stalls festooned with fairy lights line the iconic Surfers Paradise Esplanade overlooking the ocean, creating a fiesta-like ambience for locals and tourists alike to forage for fashion, food, art, craft and souvenirs while listening to live local music.
Carrara Markets

Queensland’s largest permanent market, Carrara Markets, is packed with more than 400 indoor and outdoor stalls spanning hectares to shop. A treasure trove with new and second-hand goods, fashion, food, pots, plants, homewares, art, books, toys, collectables, a cult sneaker store and fresh local produce, this place has it all. When you need a break from all that shopping, hit the cafés for big breakfasts, designer donuts and a caffeine fix. Jack Evans Boat Harbour Market

Just a stone’s throw away from the waterfront, Jack Evans Boat Harbour Markets is set in a lovely location which becomes a vibrant hub of activity on market day. Savour culinary delights and food truck fare and browse stalls selling handcrafted items, boutique fashions, jewellery, gifts, plants, homewares and more and more. The dedicated playground and nearby beach make these markets popular with families and they’re pet friendly too.

Desert Digs Vintage Market

Mo’s Desert Clubhouse hosts the ultimate Desert Digs Vintage Markets – an old-fashioned rummage style sale with stallholders selling pre-loved, vintage and up-cycled fashion that you won’t find anywhere else. Join the fashionable fray who socialise over nibbles and perhaps a tipple in this epic indie venue (which also happens to house El Rancho margarita bar) while searching for the perfect one-of-a-kind fashion find.
Dusty Rummage

When: The 2nd and last Sunday of every month, 3.30pm - 5.30pm
Beloved cafe/ bar/ arts space, Dust Temple holds a regular second-hand clothes sale where plenty of stylish people come to sell their pre-loved fashion. The bar is open so you can browse the racks at Dusty Rummage with a bevvy in hand. Strolling around the sunny courtyard, scoring bargains and giving your wardrobe a glow up is a stellar way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

For an authentic paddock to plate market experience, Currumbin Community Markets are just a stones throw from the verdant Currumbin Valley where much of the local produce is grown. Visit mid-week for organic fruit and vegetables, baked goodies, meats and jam and speaking of which, let the little ones jam to the live music while you make new friends with the picnic blanket brigade who congregate for coffee and community connection.

Weekend Farmers Markets

If you prefer to wait for the weekend to get to market, the Palm Beach Currumbin Farmers Markets is where you’ll pick up the freshest produce on offer from the farmer. Some serve straight for the back of their trucks while others pile up their stalls so you’ll find plenty of goodies to smell, squeeze and sample. BYO shopping tote or basket for this one, as it’s a plastic bag-free zone.
HOTA Farmers & Artisan Market

Meet the local farm folk, growers and producers at HOTA Farmers & Artisan Markets. Load up the hamper with fresh fruit and vegetables, indulge in goodies that are baked, smoked, cured and crafted with a paddock-to-plate philosophy in mind, and don’t forget to pack the picnic rug to bask in the sunshine while sampling your finds. You can opt to start with breakfast, stay for brunch and add a side of art appreciation at the new HOTA gallery – open from 10am to 5pm on market day too.
Burleigh Farmers Market

Burleigh Farmers Market is a mecca when it comes to sourcing farm-fresh food in a buzzing beachside atmosphere.
