Cloudy with a Chance of ArtEyes to the sky! HOTA’s Children’s Gallery is a place for daydreaming and creativity. The sky is the limit to your imagination, so we encourage families to look up and see some amazing artworks by Australian artists - historical and contemporary - that also look to the sky for inspiration. A curated display of cloud artworks will set the scene for play and creativity ‘beneath the clouds’ in the Children’s Gallery. Salsa in the Park is an event open to everyone and it is free. It is held at The Porch in Broadwater Parklands, Southport. DJs will play a variety of latin music to keep everyone dancing. 3Ptag isn't just a tournament; it's a celebration of athleticism, culture, sportsmanship and the unbrindled spirit of competition. 3Ptag is a non-contact modified Rugby League game. The theme for the tournament is All Nations. The All Nations theme was selected as sport has the power to bring individuals and communities together. It can also help to overcome differences and encourage dialogue. All Nations provides the opportunity to celebrate cultural diversity and further enhance the positivity that is generated from living within a multicultural society. The competition runs from U/12 - U/18 across both boys and girls competitions, with over 25 countries represented across 250 teams who will compete across the event.

Cooly Goes Country
COOLY GOES COUNTRY, Vixens of Fall Headline New Event at Coolangatta Hotel Country music is set to take centre stage at the iconic Coolangatta Hotel on Friday 14 November, with a spectacular new event headlined by none other than Vixens of Fall, Australia's powerhouse sister trio making waves in the country music scene. Bringing their signature blend of country-rock anthems and heartfelt harmonies, Vixens of Fall lead a dynamic lineup that promises to celebrate the heart and soul of modern country. Joining them on stage are rising star Piper Rodrigues, local favourites 78 Sound, and more acts to be announced in the coming weeks. In a special twist, the night will also feature a live performance by the winner of the Urban Stardust Band Competition, providing a unique platform for emerging talent to perform alongside some of Australia’s best. “This event is all about showcasing the energy, passion, and diversity of Australia’s country music scene, right here on the southern Gold Coast,” said event organizer Guy Palermo. Whether you're a die-hard country fan or just looking for a night of great music and good times, this is one not to miss.
