Local Flavour - Explore Scenic Rim Eat Local Month

16 Apr 2026

Scenic Rim Eat Local Month is a month-long food and farming festival with a packed program of over 150 events taking place across the wineries, distilleries, restaurants, producers and small-acre farms in this fertile Hinterland region. Running from May 29 - June 28, Eat Local Month is more than just events. It’s an invitation to explore the region at your own pace. Immerse yourself in farm gate experiences, hands-on workshops, and long lunches that stretch into golden afternoons.

With the festival taking place at the beginning of winter, it's the perfect time to take a day trip, or plan a getaway and while you’re on the tasting trail, explore the stunning National Parks, hiking trails, waterfalls and attractions the Hinterland is famous for.

To explore the full program and book tickets to events visit the Scenic Rim Eat Loca Month website. Many events require pre-booking and often sell out well in advance. Here's what you can expect from the foodie-focused events happening throughout the region across five weekends.
