Murder Mystery Dinner Gold Coast
Ever wanted to be involved in a murder and solve the case yourself, or even be a murderer? At the Fox and Hounds, they have a unique way for you to celebrate any day with your close friends. Murder at the Grand Gatsby - 1920s. They will send you your unique character and that becomes you for the evening. You will find how to dress and how you fitted into society. Then just turn up on the evening in theme and you are given tasks of which to complete. All of a sudden a murder is committed. If it wasn't you that is dead, now is your chance to unravel the clues, challenge and bribe others to get to the bottom of the story. Can you solve the crime? Kalbar Sunflower Festival
An opportunity for tourists to visit a sunflower farm based at Kalbar in the picturesque Scenic Rim Region, walk among a million sunflowers and totally immerse themselves in the beauty and happiness they provide. Excellent photography opportunities, a great event for the whole family. As well as the excitement of being up close and personal with acres of sunflowers there is free live entertainment by local musicians, free children's activities such as bubble blowing, art activations, animal petting, sensory garden and mini children's maze. Sunflower merchandise as well as food and beverages on sale. For the adults add on's such as sunflower art classes, mini family photography shoots, flower crowns and our four acre sunflower maze. Enjoy a long table lunch prepared by Chef Richard Ousby in the sunflowers and perhaps a sunflower cocktail by Boonah Brewing Co. Their very popular Devonshire tea supports The Mater Foundation so enjoy a sunflower scone and cup of tea or coffee knowing you are helping raise funds for cancer care. The sunflower festival is full of happiness and joy bringing together the local community and visitors from around Queensland and beyond. You can bring your own secateurs or borrow theirs and you can pick your own sunflowers to take home for AUD2.00 a stem.

Get ready to celebrate a major milestone—Blues on Broadbeach is marking its 25th Anniversary in 2026, transforming the Gold Coast into a rhythm and blues mecca! For a quarter of a century, this iconic festival has delivered electrifying live music experiences and the 25th anniversary promises to be another truly unforgettable celebration. Blues on Broadbeach 2026 will showcase an incredible lineup of international and homegrown artists across four spectacular days of soul-stirring entertainment. Spanning parks, streets, and venues throughout Broadbeach, the 2025 lineup featured legendary performances by The Cruel Sea, DIESEL, Vika & Linda, Eric Gales, Eli Paperboy Reed, Salmonella Dub Soundsystem and many more. The Kurrawa Park Sunday Ticket, returning for its second year in 2025, saw Australian rock icon Jimmy Barnes deliver a powerful one-off Soul Deep Show, celebrating his 10x platinum 1991 album Soul Deep. Barnes' unforgettable performance was complemented by special guests The Badloves —Aussie icons in their own right— and Pokey LaFarge, who brought his unique blend of jazz, folk, and Americana all the way from the US.
