Enjoy a delicious breakfast while listening to inspirational speaker Rachel Latimer:
Growing up on the Gold Coast in the late 1970s and early 1980s, Rachel’s mother was a machinist who worked for some of the fashion elite of the day, including designer Paula Stafford; and was in contact with many influential figures at the time.
Rachel went on to be one of the first women admitted to the Queensland Ambulance Transport Brigade.
Her first day was Christmas Day 1987.
She overcame many challenges in the 39 years she served as an ambulance officer but it is a career she loves.
Today she is the Acting Director for South East Operations Centre on the Gold Coast.
