Backing the charge our resident Dj's, Tvrks, Budson, Slimboy & Toolow are coming at you with their signature high-energy rolling & jump-up Drum and Bass & groovy Uk Garage grooves. Each pushing their own direction of broken drums and sub-driven basslines. This marks Caldera’s first Balcony session. Satellite Mile - The Waters Edge LAUNCH
SATELLITE MILE make their hometown debut, presenting tracks from the debut album “The Water’s Edge” plus additional selections in the iconic surrounds of Mo’s. Like the album, the live performance is a meeting point of traditional and electronic instrumentation. Both adepts at their craft, Ben Love and Geoff Green present a unique tapestry of sinister grooves, off kilter rhythms and cascading chordal movements. Utilising live drums, baritone vocals, electric and acoustic guitars and a small armada of synthesizers this is a show not to be missed. “…this album unfolds like a richly textured cinematic experience…dreamlike, intricate, and strikingly expansive” - Post-Punk Dot Com “The Water’s Edge’ blends the cold pulse of isolationist electronics with deeply human textures, unfolding like a digital fever dream..” - The Point Watch the video for “The Water’s Edge”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gw_eeCE_a58 With special guests NIGHTSHADE AND THE FATES and ASTRID NIGHTSHADE AND THE FATES (NATF) are a post punk/alternative rock versus gothic/dark wave band. NATF have a signature onstage presence and hone the audience to deliver an emotive, energetic performance reminiscent of the early 80s. They only come out at night! ASTRID is a solo artist with a distinctive voice and a natural gift for honest, emotional storytelling. Her music blends folk, pop, and rock into something uniquely her own, warm, alternative, and quietly powerful. Through expressive guitar work and thoughtful arrangements, Astrid creates a soundscape that is atmospheric and subtly melancholic, offering a space where listeners can breathe, reflect, and feel.
