Overview

It's big. It's loud. It's free. And it's back - Monster Machinery Day!

Calling all little builders, digger dreamers and beep beep believers - Monster Machinery Day is rolling into Broadwater Parklands, and the machines are bigger, bolder and boom ier than ever.

Spanning a full kilometre of the Broadwater Parkland's Great and Southern Lawns, this is your chance to step inside the world of the mighty machines that transform and maintain the Gold Coast. Climb, explore and get hands on with the equipment that digs, lifts, hauls and keeps our city moving.

Enjoy a huge range of free activities, including live machinery demonstrations (yes, even the woodchipper!), a rock-climbing wall, train rides, and the all-time toddler favourite - the giant sand pit!

Meet the hard working heroes from our emergency services and the volunteers dedicated to keeping our community safe at the Disaster and Emergency Management Pop-Up. Explore emergency vehicles and learn what to do during severe weather and disaster events.

And because every little explorer needs fuel - the food trucks will be in full gear!

Roll in on G:link, jump aboard the HOPO Ferry, or get active and walk, scoot or skate to the fun. Driving? Carpool if you can and remember to park legally.
