Megan Nastrom
Co-Found & Display Home Interior Designer/Stylist |Ultra Living Homes
Megan Nastrom is the Co-Founder and Interior Designer/Stylist of Ultra Living Homes, a company renowned for its acclaimed display homes.
Megan is a wife and mother of two who intimately understands the daily pressures of balancing professional success with family life. She will share her personal philosophy on how a strong mindset, perseverance, and a robust support network have helped her manage the intense demands of her career, offering key insights on the toll that being "flat out busy" can take and the strategies she uses to maintain her mental well-being while wearing many hats.

SEQ Area Manager | Hudson Homes
With 22 years of experience in the residential construction industry, Shelly has dedicated her career to guiding clients through the emotional and financial journey of building their dream home. She is a passionate advocate for female professionals, striving to create an inclusive environment where women feel valued and empowered to succeed across all areas of the sector.
As a mother, Shelly brings a unique perspective to her work, understanding the deep need for homes that are practical, functional, and adaptable for family life. Her presentation will focus on the sacrifices and mental load that come with juggling a highly demanding career and motherhood, offering actionable tips and personal experiences that have helped her thrive and become a true asset to the industry without compromising her priorities.
Elisha Hoogervorst
Project Manager – SHAPE Australia (QLD)
After initially studying a Bachelor of Business and working in the Tourism and Event industry for over a decade, Elisha studied a Master in Project Management with a focus on Construction while working as an Event Manager and raising young children.
In 2017 Elisha was employed by internationally renowned Architecture firm DBI, where she managed the Project Procurement division, consulting to builders and procuring custom made furniture and joinery for large international projects, including a 600 room hotel in Abu Dhabi. It was during her time in this position, she was approached by builder SHAPE to move into Construction. Having exposure to the design side of commercial projects, Elisha quickly adapted and has been employed by SHAPE for 5 years now, with one of her latest projects, the Tallebudgera Surf Club winning a Master Builder’s award for the Gold Coast region.
Coming from a background of design and procurement, Elisha has a particular interest in large hotel refurbishments and has recently managed the refurbishment of RACV Royal Pines on the Gold Coast as well as the new luxury day spa at the JW Marriott Surfers Paradise Hotel.
