T20 Cricket Clash: Australia vs India Hits the Gold Coast

03 Oct 2025

One of the most exciting events on the Australian sports calendar is coming to the Gold Coast! The T20 International cricket will see the Gold Coast host the Indian men’s team for the first time ever as they take on Australia.

Whether you’re a die-hard fan or just love the electric atmosphere of world-class sport, this is an event you don’t want to miss. It’s more than a game - it’s a celebration of cricket, culture, and community.

What is T20 Cricket?

A T20 cricket match is a fast-paced, shortened version of cricket where each team bats for a maximum of 20 overs (120 balls). It’s a high stakes game where competitors will adopt more aggressive batting and fielding strategies to maximise runs. The high scoring and quick finishes make for a thrilling spectacle with many matches decided by a narrow margin. The shorter, exciting nature of T20 make it accessible (and more family friendly) to a wider audience and new fans of the game. A T20 match lasts around three hours.
