Overview

Now in its third year, Broadbeach Beats returns to Broadbeach Mall for a free, family-friendly celebration of the Gold Coast's creative community, proudly supported by the City of Gold Coast.

There's a particular energy that fills a place when a whole community turns out to celebrate its own. For one day, Victoria Avenue becomes a living creative village, where live music drifts between market stalls, artists work in the open, and every corner offers something new.

Emerging musicians and community performance groups take to the stage throughout the day, sharing the raw, homegrown talent that makes the Gold Coast's music scene worth listening to. Around them, a curated market of local makers spreads along the avenue, filled with handmade ceramics, jewellery, textiles, prints, candles, and slow-made fashion. Painters work live. Photographers share their prints. Boutique labels, record labels, and zine sellers set up shop beside them.

This is a day built around discovery. A band you'll follow home. A brand you'll love. An artist whose work you'll want on your wall.

There's plenty for the youngest visitors too, with free kids' activities while the rest of the family wanders and takes it all in.

Come for the music. Stay for the makers. Leave having discovered your new favourite band, brand, or artist.

Stay tuned for the full lineup, coming soon.
