Summary
Overview
If you truly want to up the ante this silly season, celebrate another year done and dusted (almost) at The Star Gold Coast’s Not So Silent Night. This fast-selling event is undoubtedly one of the social events of the year and is the perfect excuse to get dressed up and let your hair down. The spectacularly themed ballroom will be dressed to match the formal cocktail attire code and there will be live tunes from 42Band (made up of a selection of exceptionally talented artists from Gold Coast legends Hanlon Brothers’ renowned musical arsenal), who are known for their stellar repertoire of RnB, soul and hip-hop jams, followed by DJ Libre who will hit the decks and keep the dance floor pumping late into the evening.
When it comes to the fare, this starry soiree will deliver a decadent selection of canapes, including hand-rolled sushi, chicken kofta with pomegranate yoghurt and pumpkin-and-almond samosa with mango relish. From there, guests will enjoy a sumptuous three-course feast. Sublime sips are also a must when getting into the yuletide spirit and they will be in plentiful supply – Not So Silent Night-goers will be spoilt with a four-and-a-half-hour beverage package to accompany the feast including local sparkling, red and white wines, and beer. If you’re feeling particularly thirsty, you can upgrade your beverage package to also enjoy a selection of spirits.
Tickets for this starry soiree are $215 or $235 for the ticket and beverage upgrade, and can be secured via Eventbrite. Be quick as they are strictly limited – last year’s event sold out in record time.
