Overview
Dreamworld is a Queensland icon and there’s no better way to experience it than alongside your fellow students. We’ll be travelling together by bus, departing from a location close to the Gold Coast Student Hub for a fun-filled day exploring rides, attractions, and entertainment. Students will meet at the Student Hub beforehand to check in, use the bathroom facilities, and get ready before we head off for the day. It’s a great opportunity to make new friends, enjoy one of the Gold Coast’s most popular attractions, and create some unforgettable memories together.

What to Bring:
Water bottle
Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen
Raincoat/poncho in case of rain
Comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes suitable for a full day of walking and rides!
Personal medications if required
Fully charged phone
Spending money for food, drinks, lockers, souvenirs or additional purchases
If you are bringing a bag, there are lockers at Dreamworld for $15 for the day.
Food & Drinks:
Dreamworld does not permit guests to bring their own food into the park.
Please be prepared to purchase lunch and any snacks or drinks during the day. We recommend budgeting approximately $20–30 for lunch.
There are a variety of food outlets available throughout the park catering to different tastes and dietary requirements.
Weather Updates:
This excursion will proceed in the rain. Please check the weather forecast and dress appropriately for the conditions.
If there is a significant weather event, we will reschedule. If there are changes to the excursion, you will be notified the day prior. Please keep your phone with you so you don’t miss any updates.
Itinerary:
9:15am – Check-in at the Gold Coast Student Hub
9:45am – Depart for Dreamworld via charter bus
10:15am – Arrive at Dreamworld and orientation
10:30am–4:30pm – Free time to enjoy rides and attractions
1:00pm – Optional group lunch and check-in
4:30pm – Final meeting time
5:00pm – Bus departs Dreamworld
5:30-5:45pm – Arrive back in Southport

This event is exclusively organized for Gold Coast students. Please bring your Valid Student ID Card (or CoE if you are an international students) for check-in purposes.
