What’s Happening?

This summer we’re making Gold Coast beaches more accessible than ever! In partnership with the community providers, and volunteers, we’re opening the beach for everyone.

  • Try beach wheelchairs and mobility matting
  • Enjoy a BBQ by the beach
  • My Aged Care and NDIS funding may be used for transport or supports

🕘 Time: 10.00am to 2pm

Fresh Locations: open to suggestions and will be confirmed ahead of time.

  • 14th November: Burleigh Heads with ParaSurfing Crew
  • 5th Dec: Shall we try Currumbin Vikings?
  • 30th Jan: Back to Greenmount?
  • 13th Mar: Where do you want to try?

Everyone is welcome!

As a registered charity, Volunteering Gold Coast is grateful for the support from our Sponsors and Partners which enables us to continue this important work.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY

Experience Gold Coast acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we are situated, the Kombumerri families of the Yugambeh Language Region.

We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging, and recognise their continuing connections to the lands, waters and their extended communities throughout Southeast Queensland.
