SOL Elements Bathhouse

Tucked away in the Gold Coast Hinterland, on a tranquil lake deep in the rainforest, SOL Elements transports you to a realm where ancient healing meets modern-day wellness rituals. Step inside and the pace slows, your nervous system calms and the busy world fades away.

From the exterior, SOL Elements Bathhouse seems to float like a lotus on a lake. Built with integrity and intention, this wellness sanctuary melds with the stunning natural environment in which it's built. The organic design, raw materials, hand crafted elements and earthy tones and textures create a soothing and grounded feel.

Radiating out from a central circular Zen Garden, the bathhouse offers both communal bathing and secluded private suites. The curated communal offerings include hot thermal pools, ice baths, a cedar wood sauna, botanical steam room, Earth Lab scrub suite, Himalayan Salt Cave and a sunken alfresco fire pit that sits flush with the water level of the lake. The four elements of earth, air, fire and water are incorporated into the bathing ritual.

Throughout the soak session, your senses are gently awakened and soothed at the same time. The warm embrace of the thermal pools, the cold shock of the plunge that sends your skin tingling. The fragrant steam from your cup of herbal tea, the rosy soft glow within the Himalayan Salt Cave. The magnesium pools and cold plunges are in the open air, gazing out across the lake into the surrounding forest. The serene views and sounds of nature add to the sense of calm - and it's heaven on rainy days.

Alongside the elemental soak sessions, there are a variety of other experiences and facilities on offer including private suites for groups of up to 4, Float Caves, and transformative treatments including massages and facials which incorpoate holistic wellnes modalities.

Tips to Make the Most of Your Visit

Combine your bathhouse visit with some other attractions in the region. Make it a blissful recovery session after a Hinterland hike, or book a Mount Tamborine getaway with a bathhouse visit.

Leave plenty of time to get there - unhurried is the goal. Rushing your arrival won't make for the best experience.

Don't bring kids! It's an 18+ venue although 15 - 17 year olds can attend with a family member or adult.
