THE COLLECTIVE
Another day, another rooftop bar… and this is one you won’t want to miss out on. Once a post office, The Collective has transformed Palm Beach’s nightlife scene, offering up a cool open-air hangout that buzzes from lunchtime til late where you can sip on sangria or a signature cocktail while soaking in those salty ocean breezes.
LAST NIGHT ON EARTH
This new two-story venue is Southport’s newest watering hole, taking up the space previously occupied by local fave Not Tonight. Good news… this place is bigger and better whilst retaining the quirky charm of its predecessor. With a bottom level fitted out in a post-apocalyptic style reminiscent of Mad Max, and a desert-themed rooftop bar serving 29 taps of wine, beer and imaginative cocktails, locals are loving the bar menu and the chilled rooftop vibes at Last Night On Earth.

A true Gold Coast icon, The Island has recently enjoyed a style revival and now presents as the must-visit open-air rooftop bar in Surfers, complete with festoon lighting, live tunes, an epic drinks list and the right amount of chilled vibes – it’s going to be a good night!

Get acquainted with one of the Coast’s newest rooftop bars at Wildernis, located in the heart of Palmy. With its Hamptons-inspired fit-out, retractable roof to catch the sunset, secret laneway access, drool-worthy cheese boards and Ink-Gin on tap, there’s a good chance you’ll want to settle in for the afternoon…

If your kind of jam is spending summer nights under the stars with a mouth-watering cocktail in one hand and a slice of pizza in the other, then add Justin Lane Rooftop Bar to your hit list – this joint knows how to throw a soiree, with its laid-back setup, ocean views, killer menu and feel-good vibes.
THE CAMBUS WALLACE
This nautically themed rum and whisky bar is one for the sailors at heart; serving up a swashbuckling selection of spirits and cocktails, The Cambus Wallace is understated but well represented. Coupled with a menu of tantalizing eats and live music feats, it’s to no surprise this moody bar harbours the coolest crowd in town.

Beer-loving folk needn’t look any further than Balter HQ, with its endless flow of boutique beers, onsite food trucks dishing up drool-inducing fare, and trendy warehouse setup dotted with a down-to-earth crowd (and some pro surfers too), this hangout is definitely one to hit for a cold brew or few.
