Overview

Unsettled: the search between wandering and belonging.

What does it mean to leave everything behind and start again? Unsettled is a solo theatre show that dives into the raw, funny, and deeply human experience of migration: the identity shifts, the culture shocks, and the quiet ache of not quite belonging anywhere.

Written and performed by Agustina, an Argentine actress and comedian now based in Byron Bay, Unsettled blends personal storytelling with physical comedy to take audiences on an emotional journey through wandering, homesickness, and the messy, beautiful process of building a new life from scratch.

Since its premiere, the show has sold out multiple times, with numerous performances staged across every state in Australia. Critics have called it compelling, and audiences everywhere have connected with its honest, heartfelt look at what it really takes to feel at home in an unfamiliar place.

A night at Miami Marketta's intimate Mona Lisa Lair begins with live music, followed by the performance, and closes with a question and answer session where the story behind the show can be explored further.

Whether having moved countries, moved cities, or simply felt out of place, Unsettled will make audiences laugh, tear up, and see their own story reflected on stage.
