THE RUN is a gripping action thriller set in the near-future, in a dystopian world that is crippled by global lockdowns and a mysterious infertility crisis.

An ageing smuggler, Mac, a man with secrets and a tragic past, lives in a remote coastal region. To survive, he reluctantly runs contraband across the vast, frigid Australian coast, dodging quarantine zones, abandoned towns and lawless locals who live in this dog-eat-dog landscape. En route to collect a mysterious package, Mac meets Aliah, a teenager on the run from ruthless captors. Aliah has her own precious cargo - her infant child, the first baby born in Australia in nearly four years. Further complicating events, Mac must grapple with his loyalties and morality, after he discovers that delivering Aliah’s baby to syndicate buyers is his actual mission. Mac and Aliah form an unlikely bond as they dodge her hostile pursuers while navigating what it means to trust each other and sacrifice everything as they fight to keep hope alive. Arriving at a property inhabited by a young boy, Tom, events come to a climactic head and by the end, Aliah must call on all her grit and resilience as she fights to survive, while Thomas will have his courage and strength tested like never before.
