Overview

Sweet Talk and renowned for their high-energy live shows and whipping crowds into frenzied states of boogie. The 6-piece band from Melbourne, will return to their Gold Coast roots to launch their Real Good Cookin’ Australian Tour with special guest Austin MacKay on Friday August 23rd at Mo’s Desert Clubhouse. After starting 2024 with a successful run of shows with Texan Charlie Crockett, and appearances at Riverboats Music Festival and Bluesfest – where Kasey Chambers surprised fans by joining the boys on stage, Sweet Talk released their single Real Good Cookin’ to rave reviews and spins across the country. Since their stunning debut, Sweet Talk have enjoyed widespread acclaim from industry and fans alike. “Sweet Talk was an absolute stand out at the two festivals in the last year where I caught them, Tamworth and Bluesfest” admits The Whitlams frontman, Tim Freedman. “It was pure musical lift off with charisma and earthy grunt.” Sweet Talk stitch together a rich tapestry of vintage influence into something altogether their own. Let the good times roll! This is an 18-plus event.
