Overview
Join them at North Stores, an environmentally sustainable and architecturally designed precinct in the heart of Mt Tamborine, for an art exhibition featuring Cara Sanders and Natalie Popovski. In the chaos of todays world, both Sanders and Popovski use their art to express the beauty in life. Sanders’ work draws inspiration from her roots in the Kimberley and life on the Gold Coast. Mixing natural pigments mixed with acrylic on raw canvas to evoke the romance of the Australian landscape. Popovski uses the motif of flowers, capturing them in an ethereal light and giving the viewer the impression that something is unfolding from within. Real Food Picnic Bar will be selling Negroni spritzers, fresh mango daiquiris, spiced rum mojitos, Balter craft beer, and local ginger cider on tap. Local cheeses and charcuterie mini picnic boxes, along with chocolate brownies and fresh raspberries, will also be available to purchase. Curated by Clare Maynard of Merge Creative, the exhibition will be on display until early January and available to view on weekends from 10am-2pm.
