Kick off 2026 in true Mondrian style - coastal, elevated, and electric.Mondrian Presents: Sounds of Summer – New Year’s Day Party brings an all-star lineup of international and homegrown talent to Haven Pool Club for the ultimate day-to-night party. From 1PM to 8PM, soak up the Gold Coast vibes as Josh Baker (UK) headlines alongside Cut Snake, Little Fritter, Wongo, Shimmy, and Niesh - delivering the kind of high-energy house and feel-good beats made for poolside dancing.

Josh Baker is a UK DJ and producer making waves on the global music scene,known for his feel-good sets, stage presence and appearances from London to Ibiza. Founder of You&Me Records and Hide&Seek Festival, he brings international summer vibes straight to the Gold Coast.

With Patron Tequila cocktails flowing, light bites, ocean breezes rolling through, and that signature Mondrian vibe, Sounds of Summer is where style meets sound - a coastal playground for those who know how to do New Year’s Day right.

Tickets start from $70pp + booking fee (entry only), but don’t wait — this is the place to be on January 1. Reset, recharge, and ride the rhythm into 2026 with international vibes, iconic views, and a party that only Mondrian could host.

All ticket prices are advertised exclusive of Moshtix booking and transaction fees. Applicable fees will be added and displayed prior to final purchase.

PARKING

Limited parking is available onsite at Mondrian Gold Coast. Additional parking can be found along The Esplanade. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to secure parking or consider ride-share options.

REFUNDS & CHANGES

All ticket purchases are strictly non-refundable.

Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or altered once purchased. In the event of cancellation by the venue due to unforeseen circumstances, guests will be contacted directly regarding options.

EVENT ENTRY

All guests must present a valid ticket for entry. This is an 18+ event and valid photo identification may be required upon request. ENTRY VIA EXTERNAL STAIRS ON ESPLANADE.

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL 

The event will be conducted in accordance with Queensland’s Responsible Service of Alcohol regulations. Guests behaving in a disorderly manner may be refused service or asked to leave. By attending the event, guests agree to abide by all venue rules and any directions given by security or event staff. 

DRESS CODE

Strict smart casual dress code enforced. Management and security staff reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any guests.

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEOGRAPHY 

Please be advised that professional photographers and videographers will be present throughout the event, capturing still and moving images of attendees. By purchasing a ticket and entering the event, you acknowledge and agree that Mondrian Gold Coast and it's partners may use, reproduce, and publish such images and footage in any media for promotional, marketing, and publicity purposes without further consent or compensation. 

RESTAURANT RESERVATIONS

We’ll be taking bookings as usual for lunch and dinner inside the restaurant. For GA ticket holders, cocktail-style seating will be available throughout the venue. Please note that access to the restaurant is reserved for dining guests only.

POOL 

The pool will remain open to inhouse guests for swimming throughout the event.
