Sky High & Sea Spray
Expand
9:00AM
Morning
Kick things off with the ultimate bucket-list adventure: a sky dive over the Gold Coast. Leap from 12,000 feet with Gold Coast Sky Dive and experience 60 seconds of pure freefall adrenaline before gliding down to one of the most spectacular coastal landings in the country on the soft sands of Kirra Beach. The views of Surfers Paradise and the sparkling Pacific Ocean will be etched into your memory forever.
12:00AM
Noon
Refuel in Surfers Paradise with a hearty brunch at Surfers Pavilion. This vibrant spot is made for a leisurely long lunch by the water. After you’ve indulged, take a stroll along the Esplanade — you’re only steps away from Paradise Centre and Cavill Avenue, where there’s always something buzzing. Feeling too relaxed? Don’t worry — the next adventure will have you back on the edge of your seat.
2:00PM
Afternoon
Hold on tight! Jump aboard a high-powered jet boat with JetBoat Extreme for spins, slides, and fishtail turns across the spectacular waterways of the Gold Coast. Expect to get soaked — and expect your heart rate to soar. Wait — there’s also a chilled-out moment to take in the iconic buildings and the beautiful local scenery that line our tour route.
3:00PM
Night
Wrap up the day with a relaxed dinner at La Playa in Surfers Paradise. Grab a table at this must-try seaside restaurant, inspired by a fusion of modern Australian and Mediterranean flavours, order something new or your favourite dish, and toast to a day where you’ve already ticked off not one but two epic bucket-list thrills on the Gold Coast.

Insider Tips

  • Sky Dive: Wear comfortable clothes and sneakers — you’ll be harnessed up, so avoid anything too bulky. Don’t forget to book early if you want the prime morning slots when the views are clearest.

  • Jet Boating: Bring a change of clothes or at least a light jacket — you will get wet. Sunglasses with a strap are a bonus if you don’t want to lose them.

And don’t forget the sunscreen — we’re lucky enough to enjoy sunny days almost all year round on the Gold Coast!
Day 2
Wake & Ride
Expand
8:00AM
Pre-Adventure Fuel
Before your first thrill of the day, grab your morning pick-me-up at one of the Gold Coast’s many incredible cafés — from beachside espresso bars to hidden laneway favourites, caffeine is practically a local ritual here. Or, if you’re already lakeside, get your fuel at Wake View Café before you set off on your morning adventure.

POV: tell us you’re on the Gold Coast without telling us… you’re holding a takeaway coffee with sandy feet and salty hair.
9:00AM
Morning
Start your day at Gold Coast Wake Park, just 20 minutes from Surfers Paradise and right next door to the big theme parks. Whether you’re carving up the water on a wakeboard, kneeboarding for the first time, or just laughing your way through the wipeouts, it’s an adrenaline-pumping way to kick things off. Beginners can take it slow on the learner’s cable, while pros can push for big air on the ramps — either way, the splashdowns are half the fun. Suitable for kids and adults alike – everyone can join the fun!
12:00PM
Noon
Refuel at the Wake View Café, overlooking the action on the lake. Sit back with a casual lunch and watch riders tackle the jumps — it’s entertainment with your meal. If you’re short on time, grab something quick on-site before heading to the afternoon thrills.
2:00PM
Afternoon
Now it’s time for some serious theme park action. Choose your thrills:

Warner Bros. Movie World — Australia’s #1 Theme park – enjoy adrenaline-pumping rollercoasters like DC Rivals HyperCoaster and Superman Escape and explore the magical Wizard of Oz precint.

Dreamworld — home to Australia’s biggest scream machines, including the Giant Drop and Steel Taipan.

With the parks just minutes from Wake Park, it’s the ultimate back-to-back adventure — water splashes by morning, rollercoaster screams by afternoon. Pro tip: buy your tickets online in advance to save time (and often money, too!).
6:00PM
Night
Head back to your place and kick off your shoes — you’ve earned it. If you’re still buzzing with energy, check out some of the best restaurant spots on the Gold Coast, where you’ll find something for every taste, budget and craving. Or, if the day’s thrills have worn you out, grab an easy takeaway and enjoy a relaxed dinner in — sometimes the best feast is the one you can eat in your PJs.
Day 3
Waves & Treetop Adventures
Expand
8:00AM
Morning
Head south to Burleigh Heads, one of the Gold Coast’s most iconic surf spots. No Gold Coast adventure is complete without catching a few waves. Rent a board from Gold Coast Surfboard Hire or book a quick surf lesson if you’re new to the sport. The vibe here is laid-back, the sands are soft, and the surf breaks are legendary. It’s your last day — and you deserve to soak it all in.
11:00AM
Noon
Post-surf, wander along James Street in Burleigh. This buzzing strip is filled with cafés and eateries to refuel your energy. Go light with a smoothie bowl or fresh juice at local favourite The Fruit Shop Burleigh or dive into bold flavours at Mr Hizola’s with its modern Asian infusions. There’s plenty of options here to suit whatever you’re craving.
2:00PM
Afternoon
Make your way to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary for the TreeTop Challenge. With seven unique circuits ranging from beginner-friendly to extreme, you’ll swing, climb, and zipline through the canopy. The best part? The park is set inside the wildlife sanctuary itself, so as you soar over the enclosures you might spot kangaroos, crocodiles, dingoes and emus below. Bookings are essential — spots fill up fast. Get ready to push yourself out of your comfort zone for one last adrenaline hit.
5:00PM
Sunset
Celebrate three days of non-stop adventure by chasing one final Gold Coast sunset. Stay local at Currumbin Beach for a relaxed, sandy-foot farewell, or head back to Burleigh to toast the view from the iconic Burleigh Pavilion. Either way, it’s the perfect full-circle ending: waves, sky, and that unbeatable Gold Coast glow.
That's a Wrap
Three days, countless thrills, and memories that will last a lifetime — from sky-high freefalls to rainforest zip lines, and from wakeboarding wipeouts to sunset toasts on the beach. The Gold Coast has proven it’s more than just a holiday spot — it’s an adventure playground where every moment counts.
Until next time, keep chasing that adrenaline.
