Overview

The Shake Out is a seniors dance party that is fun, footloose and freewheeling, hosted by creative joy generators us along with our friends from the inclusive dance company, Bring A Plate. Suitable for all abilities, this event is a chance to, literally and metaphorically, let your hair down and experience the joy of movement for wellness, mobility, connection and a mighty fine time. The best bit – It’s free! – pre-registration is favourable, however walk ups on the day are more than welcome Join them for 45mins of movement and followed by a light morning tea provided complimentary. Seniors are welcome to bring their kids, grandkids, friends, neighbours. No dance partners or dancing experience required. Accessibility: Access to the venue via large double doors all on ground level. If there is anything we can do to make your time with them more comfortable please reach out to them. Parking: Upper Coomera Community Centre has free parking and accessible parking available onsite, with a drop off area when first driving in. Arrival: Once you have arrived, enter the building via the front entrance and walk toward the bright sparking decor! Any questions? Please email Pru.
