Perhaps a dip in the pool or a stroll along the beach before a couple’s treatment at spaQ and a romantic dinner at Japanese fine dining restaurant, Yamagen. You’ll check out feeling refreshed, connected and a little bit more in love.
Date ideas: Take on mini challenge rooms at Hijinx Hotel, hire stand up paddle boards from Go Vertical at Budds Beach or hire Lime Bikes and explore surrounding beaches and eateries.

Dorsett Gold Coast
Dorsett Gold Coast strikes the perfect blend of city sophistication and coastal luxe for special weekend away with your favourite person. While its Broadbeach location is technically ‘inner city’, we’re talking Gold Coast, so the incredible coastline is less than a kilometre from your door.

Then again, you might prefer to hide away from the world in dreamy hotel rooms - with plush bedding and panoramic views, ordering room service and staying is a tempting option. So is reclining on a sun lounge at Isoletto Pool Club beside an expansive, sparkling oasis where you can sip, dip and lounge around with your love all day long. Bliss!

It’s also right beside Broadbeach’s dining precinct so you can saunter down for a cocktail at dusk or to visit one of the region’s many romantic dining options.
That said, some of the best options for cocktails and dinner are in The Star precinct itself. Spoil your lover with a special dinner at Kiyomi or Nineteen at The Star (this rooftop venue is magical at sunset) or kick your heels up with cocktails and dancing at The Atrium Bar.
You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to accommodation here - there are three different hotels housed within The Star.
