The College was established by industry, for industry, in response to a need for an alternative style of senior education with a training environment to produce the best quality apprentices.

Years 10, 11 and 12 students spend half their time completing their senior education on campus, and the other half out in industry.

The AITC’s values-based philosophy, together with an agile and responsive approach to industry needs, have contributed to significant and sustainable employment outcomes for over 1,400 young people in South East Queensland over the past 12 years.

In 2019, 99% of our graduates completed their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) and 90% had started paid apprenticeships in the industry career of their choice.

With five campuses, including on the Gold Coast at Robina, the AITC is proud to educate tomorrow’s industry leaders.
