If you need support with any aspect of your life as a Gold Coast student, The Student Hub provides FREE support, resources and practical information on topics including accommodation, career opportunities, referrals to legal and community organisations, wellbeing services and assistance navigating the real estate rental process.

GOLD COAST STUDENT HUB SUPPORT APPOINTMENTS

Gold Coast Student Hub Support officers can try and assist or provide referrals to you for any of the below aspects of your student life:

• Basic Careers Support (Resume, Interview, etc)
• Mental Health & Well-being
• Navigating Australian Systems
• Accommodation advice and support navigating real estate systems
• Referrals to Legal, Social or Community Organisations

Appointments Availability: Appointments are available from Monday and Wednesday (face to face/phone call/video call). When booking your appointment, please mention in the comments section your preferred method of this appointment (Face to Face / phone call / video call)

This service is available to: Current Gold Coast Students only and must be able to provide a valid student ID card or Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE)

Tenancy Support

BY QSTARS – TENANTS QUEENSLAND

QSTARS can assist you with:

• Advice & assistance to understand your tenancy rights & responsibilities
• Support to resolve your tenancy issue
• Helping you talk to your lessor or agent
• Help to write a letter or fill in tenancy forms
• Help to attend or prepare for a QCAT tenancy tribunal hearing
• Referral to other services if needed

Check availability on the student events and workshops calendar page & just drop in – no appointments required for this service! This service is available once a week between 10AM – 4PM.
