Summary

Established in 1970, the Gold Coast Fishermen's Co-Operative was one of the first developments on the Spit at Main Beach. It has been family owned and run ever since.

The fishing fleet consists of Prawn Trawlers, Tuna Long Liners and a Spanner Crab vessel, all operating in the pristine waters of the Gold Coast. These vessels return to port most days loaded with the freshest seafood available for sale direct from the boat, often by the person who caught it.

The complex consists of floating pontoons, which enables buyers to access the vessels direct to purchase fresh seafood at extremely affordable prices.

They have been operating this retail venture since 2006 and offer their customers the 'freshest catch' possible. All product sold is caught directly by the vessels. They are open from 7 am until sold out, making mornings a preferred time to visit them.

They welcome locals and tourists and are keen to share knowledge of their fishing operations and seafood with you.

Come on by and have a chat and enjoy the freshest seafood they offer.
