Honestly, sometimes the most indulgent thing you can do is absolutely nothing. A hotel pool, zero notifications, and a Gold Coast that turns out to have way more going on than you'd expect.
Like, genuinely did not see this coming.

From trying on Bvlgari jewellery at Pacific Fair to sound healing inside an actual beehive at Gwinganna – this wasn't a trip that recharged the batteries. It replaced them entirely.

Watch the videos below and book some of the same spots. Or let this be the sign you've been waiting for to finally, properly, treat yourself.

PHONES OFF. FEET UP.

Diamond necklaces, sunset sails, and yes, a beehive you literally climb inside. This wasn't the Gold Coast I'd planned for. It was so much better. Turns out when you actually put the phone down, you discover a whole lot more than the algorithm ever had on offer.

PAMPERED AT PACIFIC FAIR

First stop, Pacific Fair, and not just for a wander around the shops. A personal driver picked me up, which I handled very casually. Then a VIP session trying on Bvlgari jewellery – absolutely unreal. Back to the pool at the JW Marriott to decompress, then a sunset sail out and dinner at Kost to finish the day off properly.
The whole time, not a single notification. Bliss.

GWINGANNA RETREAT (PINCH ME)

Traded the coast for the calm of Gwinganna and honestly? Highlight of the whole trip. A full spa treatment, a sound healing session, and the Healing Bee Hut, which is a weird way to relax, but totally works. Woke up the next morning for Qi Gong feeling more like myself than I have in a really long time. Didn't miss my phone once, which from me, is saying something.

SWITCH OFF, SEE MORE.

I'm already planning the return trip. Explore my journey or use it as inspiration to build your own Gold Coast escape.
