Think Tiffany’s, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Givenchy, Bally, Michael Kors, Salvatore Ferragamo, Rolex, Chanel, Coach – all recently unveiled as part of Pacific Fair’s luxury precinct. Australian designers have not been overlooked, with Zimmermann, Scanlan Theodore and Dion Lee also opening stores in the centre.

Already the home of major Australian and international retailers, Robina Town Centre opened the doors to a $160 million culinary adventure, The Kitchens, in late 2016. This vibrant community epicentre brings artisans, chefs, providores, purveyors and food lovers under the one roof to celebrate, sample and indulge in seasonal, fresh, local produce at pop-up venues, restaurants, bars, workshops and tastings.

HARBOUR TOWN PREMIUM OUTLETS

The Centre in recent years has undergone a $20 million expansion, including an additional mall featuring a new collection of premium outlet fashion brands, Centre upgrades and a refreshed alfresco dining precinct, aptly named Harbour Town Eats.

FERRY ROAD BRICKWORKS

This hub of specialty stores is perfect for insta-worthy food pics, enviable wellness-lifestyle options and designer fashion coveted by the likes of Taylor Swift. Brickworks is frequented by locals collecting their cream-of-the-crop groceries at Ferry Road Market alongside diners and leisurely shoppers. The precinct is a haven in the midst of Gold Coast’s CBD, Southport.

THE VILLAGE MARKETS

Every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, Burleigh Heads State School plays host to an array of to carefully selected, local boutique stalls. This fashion and lifestyle market is a welcome platform for emerging designers and creatives offering a fresh approach to the traditional shopping centres. With food trucks and live music to set the tone, the relaxed atmosphere at The Village Markets is a favourite with locals. If you like browsing through boutiques offering exclusive homewares and local designers or simply like to ‘people-watch’, then nearby James Street is a must. Pop into local photographer Sean Scott’s gallery, grab a cold-pressed juice or steaming coffee, and meander to your heart’s content.

MIAMI MARKETTA

An eclectic mix of food and music, Miami Marketta also houses art, fashion and lifestyle retail offerings in a bustling, enclosed street precinct. Every Friday and Saturday night the Miami Marketta comes alive with foods of all nationalities – complete with a dessert hall and two bars serving boutique wine and locally brewed beer. You could be mistaken into thinking you’re in the back streets of Thailand, Barcelona or New York City, but this street food market is right here in Miami on the Gold Coast.
