How To Plan The Perfect Date On The Gold Coast

25 Feb 2020

Looking to take your love to new heights? Experience some of the best locations and attractions right here on the Gold Coast with your beloved. We’ve put together three date ideas that are sure to impress…

ZOOM ALONG THE WATERWAYS BY JET SKI

While jet skis may be every males’ ideal date activity, it can equally be a fun experience for couples (and both parties) who like to have fun in the great outdoors.

Gold Coast Jet Ski Safaris lets you explore the wild blue yonder of the Gold Coast Broadwater, as well as hidden Islands that surround Surfers Paradise and beyond. Experience local pods of dolphins, turtles and even wallabies while out on the open seas!

ENJOY SUNSET AT THE BEACH CLUB

Looking to impress? For a magical afternoon enjoying your favourite tipple, change into your causal island attire and head straight to the Sunset Beach Club at Couran Cove Island Resort. Located on the golden shores of South Stradbroke Island, sit back and relax alfresco style at a picnic table or on a day bed with your toes in the sand while you take in the view.

If jet ski adventures aren’t your courting style, simply catch a ferry service departing from Mariners Cove on Seaworld Drive at Main Beach direct to Couran Cove and the Beach Club. Ferry services run every day, with return fares only $38 per person.

Open Fridays and Sundays (only) from 4pm, be sure to take a look at the cocktail menu at the Sunset Beach Club and hang around to watch the stunning sunset.

OVERNIGHT ESCAPE TO THE STAR GOLD COAST

For a romantic overnight escape, look no further than The Star Gold Coast. Combining luxury and sophistication of a world-class hotel with the collection of award-winning restaurants, lively bars, a tranquil spa, pool and a 24-hour casino, you’ll certainly be in for a stay to remember.

Love to wine and dine? Discover a sensational summer-inspired menu at The Garden Kitchen and Bar. Here modern dining is met with the great outdoors for an all-round lively atmosphere. Opt for a table on the spacious deck or inside near the superb 13-metre bar to relish local prawns and grilled lime, pan-seared salmon and zucchini flower and an all-new cocktail menu.
